
Bill Frank was born and raised in Michigan. After graduating from Central Michigan University with a BS and MS in Mathematics and serving in the Army during the Vietnam era he moved to Vermont and began a career with IBM in Essex Junction. Retiring after 30 years of service Bill formed a consulting and programming company specializing in flow control of manufacturing lines.
In 1971 Bill married Bev and they have one grown daughter Sara. Bill & Bev are 35 year residents of Poker Hill Road, Underhill and members of the United Church of Underhill. They are active in the church's annual Harvest Market where Bill runs the French Fry stand giving him the title "French Fry Guy."
Bill was first elected to the Vermont House in 2004 and re-elected in 2006, 2008 & 2010. His Legislative assignments include:
· 8 year member of the House Human Services Committee
· Building Bright Futures State Council member
· Tobacco Evaluation & Review Board member
· Chair of the Legislative End-of-Life Care, Palliative Care and Pain Management Study committee
· Health Access Oversight Committee member
· Prescription Monitoring System Advisory Committee legislative member
Bill served on the Underhill ID school board for 15 years, 9 years as chairman, on the Chittenden East Executive Board for 9 years, 7 as chairman. He is on the board of the Essex Meals on Wheels, was a member of the Pine Ridge School Board of Trustees and is the monitor for the annual meetings of the Underhill ID School District and Jericho-Underhill Water District
